Bucky Barnes is the childhood friend of Steve Rogers, a.k.a Captain America. After being brainwashed by Hydra he was transformed into a powerful assassin called the Winter Solider, armed against the S.H.I.E.L.D Organisation. With a cybernetic arm and a loyal friend in Captain America, he overcomes the brain-washing to be welcomed back into the Avengers fold. Played by actor Sebastian Stan Winter Soldier appears in many film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including the Captain America movies (2011, 2014, 2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and the latest movie Avengers: Endgame (2019).
